Our Story
Johnnie Fox's Irish Snug Est. 2004
Originally called Johnnie Fox’s Irish Snug, we opened our doors at 1033 Granville St in 2004. Our founder Gus Greer and some friends decided to open a casual, fun place where people could meet and socialise in a friendly, down to earth environment.
Soon we were growing from strength to strength with the ever growing Irish diaspora calling our small little hole in the wall their home away from home.
Like most things in life with new challenges come new opportunities and with the pandemic hitting hard we decided to up sticks and move to our current home at 1601 Main St. Our larger, more spacious location still has the charm of our old spot and with 10 tv screens to continue showing the best sporting events from anywhere in the world, we also have live music, pool, darts and STILL the best Guinness in town.

The Menu - with a recent revamp of the food program, Johnnie's food has never been better. Locally sourced and scratch made, our food is coming from the heart. Family recipes from the Ireland of old, prepared and presented with the intent to impress.
